Leonard Bernstein’s music, so familiar yet ever-new, is the focus of this evening of song in celebration of Bernstein’s 100th birthday. Tim and Nancy LeRoi Nickel, Kevin Walsh, and Beth Madsen Bradford perform his charming Arias and Barcarolles for mezzo, baritone, and 4-hand piano, along with a few other favorite tunes.

This is a reprise of the successful October 14 benefit performance with Friends of Chamber Music! 

Concert starts at 7pm, and admission is through a free-will offering.

Beth sang in the ensemble quartet for this concert version Angel of the Amazon, a new American opera based on the life of Sister Dorothy Stang.

Astoria Music Festival

Beth reprised a favorite role, Berta, in Astoria Music Festival's production of Rossini's popular comic opera.

Beth made her debut with Rogue Valley Symphony as the alto soloist in Mozart's Requiem and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy. Performances May 5, 6 and 7, 2017.

Beth was the alto soloist in this mixed media performance raising funds for Ceasefire Oregon.  Performances March 15 at The Old Church; March 16, location TBD; and March 17 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church.

Portland favorites David Saffert (as Liberace), Beth Madsen Bradford, Stacey Murdock, Erik Hundtoft, and Vakare Petroliunaite came together in a cabaret dedicated to the smutty side of song. Not to be missed! Performances February 26 and 26, 2017.

Beth joined Resonance Ensemble and Portland Chamber Orchestra in a program featuring a selection of gorgeous a cappella songs, and the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah. Performances December 14, 16, 18 and 18, 2016.

Beth returned to Vashon Opera in performances as Madame de Croissy, the old prioress, in Dialogues des Carmélites - Poulenc's dramatic opera about a sect of Carmelite nuns during the French Revolution.  Performances September 16 and 18, 2016.

Beth sang the role of Marta in the beautiful one act opera, Iolanta, by Tchaikovsky, in Portland Concert Opera's inaugural performance.

In Beth's debut with Eugene Opera, she sang the role of the old housekeeper, Mrs. Grose, in Benjamin Britten's chilling opera The Turn of the Screw.
